According to a presidential decree, a land plot in New Tashkent has been designated for building a modern TSUL campus.

The Ministry of Justice and the project contractor have been instructed to select the most suitable proposals and begin construction of the new campus.

During the construction process, international financial institutions, global, regional and foreign banks, as well as major international construction companies, will be engaged using concessional financing.

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, TSUL will introduce a dual education model for second-, third- and fourth-year law students:

• 50% of the curriculum (theory) will be taught in classrooms;

• 50% (practical training) will take place in courts, law-enforcement and legal-protection bodies, the bar, legal consultancy firms and other sector-specific organizations.

TSUL’s international cooperation will also be expanded in stages:

• A Center for European Law (European economic and legal law) will be opened jointly with universities in Europe;

• A World Trade Organization Law Center will be created in cooperation with the World Trade Organization;

• An English Law Center will be launched in partnership with universities in the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as sector experts;

• A Turkish–Uzbek Law Center will be established together with universities in Turkey;

• A Chinese Law Center will be created in cooperation with universities in China;

• TSUL students will have opportunities for practical training and internships at international law firms and international dispute-resolution institutions (arbitration and mediation).

Next year, internships and academic exchange programs for TSUL faculty members will be organized in cooperation with leading foreign universities.
