Ambassador of Uzbekistan to China Bahtiyor Saidov to replace Sherzod Shermatov as Minister of Public Education
On November 17, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis approved the candidacy of Bakhtiyor Saidov for the post of Minister of Public Education.
According to a Kun.uz correspondent, before that Bakhtiyor Saidov worked as the ambassador of Uzbekistan to China.
He was born in 1981 in Samarkand region. In 2002, he graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics.
In July 2017, he was appointed ambassador of Uzbekistan to China. He also served as ambassador to Mongolia and the Philippines.
Earlier it was reported that the Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov was transferred to another job. Now he will work as the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications if his candidacy is approved by the president.
