Uzbekistan, Ukraine discuss strengthening practical aspects of trade relations
On December 19, 2019, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Adham Ikramov met with the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Kachka, the press service of the chamber reported.
The meeting was also attended by Director of the Department for Trade Protection at the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Natalia Sidoruk, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine Valery Korol, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Uzbekistan Denis Pogrebnoy and head of the trade section of the Embassy of Ukraine in Uzbekistan Julia Kolinko.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, pharmaceuticals, textile industry and agriculture.
The sides also exchanged views on the practical aspects of increasing trade and mechanisms for implementing joint investment projects for 2020.
