An information seminar dedicated to economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan took place in the Netherlands.
Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belgium organized the event in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Dutch Center of Poultry.
About 50 representatives of Dutch companies attended the event along with officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Uzparrandasanoat, Uzsanoatqurilishbank, Halq Bank and poultry enterprises.
At the event, the participants were familiarized with social-economic development of Uzbekistan, created conditions for businesses, provided tax preferences, as well as operations of special economic zones.
They also were acquainted with perspective investment projects of the Programme of industrial development in food industry for 2015-2019. Trade platform Trade Uzbekistan was also presented to the Dutch companies.
It was underlined that the Dutch companies are interested in expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation with Uzbekistan, including in poultry.
After the presentations, the business circles held negotiations to discuss possible areas of cooperation in various areas of food industry and poultry.
