This tournament, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbekistan Athletic Federation, in addition to our athletes was attended by about 350 athletes from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
In the decathlon competition, our experienced athlete Leonid Andreev scored 8250 points and won first place. In the shot put, javelin, hammer and discus throw Ulugbek Egamberdiev, Suhrob Hodjaev, Sergey Dementiev, Sanobar Erkinova, Sofiya Burhonova rose to the highest step of the podium. In the long jump and the triple jump Ruslan Kurbonov and Timur Husnulin won first place.
In 10 kilometers race walking, Shohruh Salomov and Zuhra Kahramonova, in 110 meters race with obstacles, Nikolay Rozanov and Valentina Kibalnikova were ahead of all rivals.
In various distances running, Jaloliddin Hamrokulov, Sardor Bahtiyorov, Andrey Kulikov, Roman Shtukan, Zulfizar Abdullaeva, Kumush Matyokubova, Muattar Baratova were first to cross the finish line. In 100 meters relay race, the team of Tashkent city became the winner.
