Leonid Marinich, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Uzbekistan, told journalists today that the number of direct flights between Minsk and Tashkent can be increased up to four times per week, BELTA reports.
““BELAVIA” Belarusian Airlines is considering launching two additional flights to Tashkent in the near future. We can’t say exactly when this happens, but negotiation process is underway,” Leonid Marinich said.
The ambassador stated that launching new flights is not a problem, but filling them and increasing the economic benefits are what should be considered most.
Currently, direct flights between Belarus and Uzbekistan are held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They are performed on comfortable aircrafts of “Uzbekistan Airways”.
