Internet speed in Uzbekistan declined

Ireland's “Ookla” company, which publishes ranking of mobile and fixed broadband speeds from around the world on a monthly basis, announced the ranking of countries with the fastest internet speeds as of August, 2018. 

Uzbekistan ranked 109th on mobile internet speed (9.63 Mbps) and 116th on fixed broadband internet speed (7.98 Mbps). In the previous ranking Uzbekistan occupied the 114th position on the FBIS.

With 63,13 Mbps Norway topped the ranking on mobile internet speed, closely followed by Qatar (63 Mbps) and United Arab Emirates (56.6 Mbps) respectively.

Top 3 countries with the fastest fixed broadband internet speed were Singapore (189.38 Mbps), Iceland (147.13 Mbps) and Hong Kong (139.58 Mbps).
