New innovative project QR Book launched in Uzbekistan
The essence of the project is that from now on students will not waste time searching for necessary literature and will be able to access online training manuals, virtual labs and multimedia tools using their mobile phones.
To enter the innovative library of the QR Book, students must download an appropriate application, such as “QR code reader”, to their smartphones. Then select any book and enter its code to the QR Book system. Thus, they can enjoy reading the book in the car, on a public transport, at school or on vacation.
It is reported that within the framework of the project a close cooperation will be established with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan to implement it in all higher educational institutions.
The primary approbation of “QR Book” is to be carried out at the Tashkent State Dental Institute.
To improve the project in the future, it is planned to place animation videos, photo materials, lab works and others to the QR Book card.
