Chief Executive of UK Export Finance (UKEF), the UK’s export credit agency, Louis Taylor has finished his working visit to Uzbekistan, the press service of the British Embassy in Tashkent said.
During the visit Mr. Taylor held talks with the heads of several ministries and departments.
“The main purpose of the visit was to promote trade relations between the UK and Uzbekistan,” the Embassy’s report reads.
The CEO of UKEF also met with British companies operating in Uzbekistan and Uzbek commercial structures.
“We discussed a number of issues, including economic reforms and foreign investment. The UK is ready to support these initiatives by any means,” the diplomatic mission quoted from Mr. Taylor.
