CIS Defense Ministers’ Council meeting to be held in Tashkent on 10-12 October
Tashkent will host the next, 75th meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states for the first time on Oct. 10-12, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan reports.
The meeting will be held in the palace of international forums "Uzbekistan".
“Cooperation within the council allows member states to solve strategic issues and ensure peace and stability in the region,” the Ministry official noted.
In April, the 48th meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Air Defense under the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states was held at the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan in Tashkent for the first time, the Ministry of Defense recalled.
