Russian “Rudgormash” to supply gold mining equipment to Uzbekistan
“Rudgormash”, a Voronezh-based company of Russia, is to supply 1 billion rubles worth mining equipment to Uzbekistan by the end of 2018, Podrobno.uz reports.
“This year we are fulfilling a fairly large order for the supply of the gold mining industry of Uzbekistan in price terms. The order is worth over 1 billion rubles. Under this contract, we have supplied drilling rigs and spare parts for them. But that's not all. As it turned out, new gold deposits are being developed there, where equipment will be needed. I hope that our partnership will continue, because the Uzbek side likes our equipment. According to preliminary estimates, volume of supplies next year will be the same as this year’s,” Kommersant newspaper quoted Anatoly Chekmenev, President of the Russian company, as saying.
According to Mr. Chekmenev, the company plans to complete work on two new types of equipment for ore dressing in the first quarter of next year. This equipment, he noted, is also interesting for Uzbekistan.
