American students visited Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington
As per the request of top 5 USA universities, on October 14, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington made a presentation on the excursion and the rich cultural-historical heritage as well as tourist potential of Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the professors and students from Boston, New York, California, Baylor and Ohio State Universities had an interest in the ancient history, rich cultural heritage, unique architecture of Uzbekistan and ongoing reforms in the country.
"The visitors have been organized a tour around the Embassy's historic building and the Museum of Exhibits from our country. A huge collection of artistic production of craftsmen and artisans of Uzbekistan attracted students' great attention. The diplomats gave explanations about the history, culture and traditions of Uzbek people and replied on the queries of students", - the Foreign Ministry said.
The students asked about the best time to visit Uzbekistan, direct flights and visa requirements for Americans.
The presentation of the sights of Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, including the new tourist routes along the Great Silk Road have attracted their attention.
They thanked the Embassy of Uzbekistan for the event at the end of the visit.
