Uzbekistan to host the first “Naqshbandiya Tourism Festival”

With the assistance of the Uzbek Embassy in Malaysia, on November 7-12, 2018, the “Naqshbandiya Tourism Festival” will be held in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The event will be organized by the Malaysian “World Sufi Center”.

The main purpose of the festival, unprecedented in form and scale, is to pay tribute to the great Uzbek thinkers who contributed to the development of Islam and world civilization. Besides, it is also planned to improve the tourism potential of Uzbekistan through “Ziyorat-tourism”.

The “World Sufi Center” prepared brochures and a promotional video of the event, and also, together with Uzbek travel companies, developed tour packages that are sold in the tourist markets of Malaysia and other countries.

More than 150 followers of the Naqshbandi Sufi Tariqat, including more than 10 prominent ulamas from around the world are expected to attend the event.
