Uzbekistan announced the additional off days in 2019
In accordance with the presidential decree, off days are set for 2019 in order to create conditions for the full rest of citizens during the official celebrations and ensure rational use of public holidays.
In 2019, the followings are supplemented off days:
• 2 January - Wednesday;
• 22 March - Friday;
• 2 September - Monday.
In 2019, the following weekends are shifted:
• 5 January - Saturday to 3 January - Thursday;
• 1 June - Saturday to 6 June - Thursday;
• 7 September – Saturday to 3 September - Tuesday;
• 28 December - Saturday to 31 December - Tuesday.
- as established on paragraph 1 of this Decree, in budgetary organizations, supplementary working days are compensated by three working days of annual leave;
- the calculation of the average monthly wage, which is maintained during the annual working holiday, takes into account the actual duration of the labor leave and shall be supplemented with additional days off in accordance with this Decree;
- not less than fifteen working days, taking into account the reduction of annual leave;
- in accordance with paragraph 1 of this Decree, in non-budgetary organizations, additional leisure days shall be set by other local regulations received that is fixed in labor contracts and agreed by the employers.
