Minister of Public Education to cooperate with Chinese Haier

Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov received the Chief Executive Manager of China Hainergy New Energy Corp. Ltd (Haier) Joe Yu.

During the meeting, which was attended by the leadership of “Uzeltehsanoat” JSC, the guests got acquainted with plans of the Ministry on reforming the public education system, including plans for revision of modern information technologies and informatics.

It was noted that at present, the use of a certain program in schools is being taught. In future, it is planned to teach young learners programming.

Chief Executive Manager of Haier Joe Yu, in turn, provided detailed information on the company’s experience in the sphere and spoke about possibilities of introducing “intelligent classrooms”, “intelligent laboratories” e-learning and other opportunities to the education system of the republic.
