Tariffs for hot water and heating to increase in Tashkent
Prices for heating and hot water will be increased in Tashkent from December 8, 2018, Kun.uz correspondent reports citing Toshissikkuvvati.
The increase in the cost of heating and hot water is justified by the “rising prices for energy and materials”.
For the population, the cost of central heating will be 1610.99 sums per square meter of heated area.
Prices for hot water supply will also grow. In the absence of metering devices, the cost of hot water will reach 18,609.24 sums per person per month, with the device - 4765.20 sums per 1 cubic meter. For residents of dormitories with shared showers, the cost of hot water will be 13,843.47 sums per person per month.
Payment for the cost of hot water delivered to the population who do not have hot water metering devices is carried out using a 1.5 multiplying factor to the established tariffs.
In the absence of metering devices for hot water in residential premises in which there are no registered citizens, payments for hot water supply are carried out according to consumption standards, using a 1.5-factor increase to the established tariffs for hot water services.
A new wholesale heating tariff will be set for enterprises and organizations. It will be 124560 sums / GCal without VAT and 149472.00 sum / GCal with VAT.
Thermal energy is supplied to legal entities that do not have heat metering devices and use the double amount of the established tariff for thermal energy (with the exception of thermal energy for heating, supplied to legal entities located in apartment buildings).
It is worth noting that now the population in Tashkent pays 4,332 sums per cubic meter of hot water in the presence of a metering device and 16,917.49 sums per person per month without it. As for central heating, 1464.53 sums are paid for one square meter of heated space.
Since November 16, the price of gas for households in Uzbekistan has increased to 320 sums per cubic meter, and electricity - to 250 sums per kilowatt. In addition, it is planned that from July 1, 2019, the cost of gas in the country will increase to 350 sums, and electricity from June 1, 2019 - to 280 sums.
