IMF to assist Uzbekistan in the implementation of tax reforms
Between November 27 – December 3, 2018, in Tashkent, the following mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is conducting its activity to assist Uzbekistan in implementing tax reforms.
In the course of the mission, a number of meetings with leadership and specialists of the Ministry of Finance, as well as the State Tax Committee are envisaged.
The delegation, represented by senior economists of the revenue division of the IMF's Tax Department, will summarize the preliminary work of the Fund based on a study of Uzbekistan’s tax system. They will present the chief components of the strategic plan on tax administration reforms.

In addition, the mission is expected to provide recommendations for further improving the tax system in Uzbekistan and discuss the next steps of cooperation in the implementation of reforms in this field.
