Ministry of Finance: Uzbekistan to increase per capita GDP to $ 2,000 by 2021
Uzbekistan plans to increase its GDP to almost by $ 2,000 per capita over three years.
According to the data of the Ministry of Finance from December 5, by 2021, per capita GDP in Uzbekistan will be $ 1,956.
Until September 2018, the gross domestic product amounted to $ 894 per capita. The Ministry of Finance predicts that this figure will reach $ 1,200 by the end of this year.
Last year, Uzbekistan’s per capita GDP was $ 948.
The Ministry of Finance forecasts revenue growth by $ 2,000 without taking into account external factors, such as a sharp decline in oil and gold prices, devaluation of reserve currencies and a sharp increase in inflation.
