Center of vocational training at the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education to be abolished
On the portal of discussions of normative-legal acts, a draft presidential decree “On measures for radical improvement of the system of higher and secondary special education” has been placed.
The document may approve the cardinal improvement of the system of higher and specialized secondary education that is proposed by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Testing Center under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations.
From January 1, 2019:
The Center of the vocational training at the Ministry of higher and secondary special education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its staff members may be transferred to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.
The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the legal successor of all rights, assets, obligations and contracts of the discontinued Center.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations jointly with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education is entrusted with the employment of the Center’s staff.
The Center’s Department for innovative development of vocational education system, Institute for advanced training and retraining of teachers, Service for metrological control, vocational colleges subordinating to the territorial departments of professional education of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city will be transferred to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.
