Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan discussed border issues
From 13 to 19 December 2018, a meeting, between the working groups of the Uzbek-Turkmen intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the state border, was held in Turkmenabad.
During the talks, the parties reviewed the results of joint field topographic and geodetic works carried out at the Uzbek-Turkmen State border and agreed on the schedule of meetings for 2019.
The parties also finalized the package of draft regulatory documents on the demarcation of the State Border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
Following the negotiations, the sides inked a joint Protocol.
