President introduces amendments to the Land Code
The President signed a Law on amendments and addenda to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the effective use of crop fields.
According to a report of the “Legal Information” Telegram channel, the law has introduced amendments and addenda to some legislative acts.
Particularly, in accordance with the amendments to the Code of Land and the Law on Farming activities, the land plot, which is inherited for farming, is also presented to young persons who have joint recommendations from the Council of farmers and landlords, as well as the Council of Uzbekistan’s Youth Union in districts (cities).
Previously, such land plots were only given to families and citizens living in rural areas for not less than three years.
