President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution "On forecast of main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of the state budget for 2019 and budgetary targets for 2020-2021".
It has set the amount of taxes and mandatory payments to be paid in 2019.
The resolution states about lessors the followings:
23. To approve the minimum amount of tax arrears on transfer of debts to property of taxpayers in accordance with the appendix 23.
24. Taxation of income from the lease of the property shall be deductible from the amount of the lease payment established by the contract, however:
- for legal entities - minimum rates of rent for use of the state real property;
- for the physical entities leasing property (lessors) – not less than the amount calculated based on minimal rates of lease established in accordance with the Appendix 24.
It is stated in the Resolution that the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Justice and other relevant ministries and departments will submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan before March 1, 2019 on amendments and supplements to the legislation.
