Sharda University to open a branch in Andijan
An agreement was signed at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India between the khokim of Andijan region Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov and the head of the Sharda Group Pradeep Kumar Gupta on the opening of Sharda University branch in the Andijan region.
The university will begin to operate from the next academic year. At the initial stage, the Indian side plans to invest $20 million in the educational project.
The University prepares cadres in the following directions:
- electrical engineering;
- electronic and communication engineering;
- computer science;
- information technology and cyber security;
–Business administration and commerce.
Sharda University is a private institution in India. The university was founded in 2009 and ranks first among private universities in India in terms of the number of foreign students studying. The university is ranked 92nd in the national ranking of India.
