Uzbekistan ranked first among the CIS countries in terms of consumer price increases in 2018
In accordance with the data provided by BelaPAN, Uzbekistan ranked first in consumer price growth among the former USSR countries in 2018.
By the end of 2018, prices in Uzbekistan increased by 14,3%. At the same time, Ukraine (9,8%) ranked second, and Belarus (5,6%) ranked third.
Tajikistan ranked fourth (5,4%). Following Uzbekistan, a lower inflation rate was observed in Kazakhstan (5,3%), Russia (4,3%), Estonia (3,4%), Latvia (2,6%), Lithuania (1,9%) and Armenia (1,8).
Georgia and Azerbaijan have the same figures – 1,5%. In Moldova – 0,9% and in Kyrgyzstan – 0,5%.
It is noted that the rating was prepared based on the analysis of data from national statistical agencies.
