Workshop for tourism sector representatives organized in Tashkent

A workshop on “Procedure for the entry, exit, stay and transit of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Uzbekistan” was held in Tashkent, the press service of the Border Troops of the State Security Service reported.

Over 150 representatives of the journalist corps, tour operators and businessmen operating in tourism sector attended the workshop.

At the event, the types, terms and procedures for issuing visas of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MFA), documents for the right of entry and exit to and from the country of foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as on the procedure for importing and exporting goods, the rules for the stay of foreign citizens in Uzbekistan and provision of hotel services in the country were considered.

The meeting organizers provided information on temporary registration, transportation of goods and intersection of the border by persons and vehicles. It was noted that all ministries and agencies in Uzbekistan, in particular, the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Customs Committee, have helplines.
