It should be recalled that on February 2, social networks spread information that the health condition of prisoner Iskandar Khudayberganov in Jaslyk deteriorated. Allegedly, this was reported to his uncle by an employee of the internal affairs bodies.

According to the Interior Ministry, Iskandar Khudayberganov (born in 1974) was convicted under Articles 155 (terrorism), 156 (incitement of national, racial, ethnic or religious hatred), 159 (encroachment on the constitutional order of the Republic of Uzbekistan), 161 (sabotage), 242 (organization of the criminal community), 247 (illegal seizure of firearms, military supplies, explosives or explosive devices) and 248 (illegal possession of weapons, military supplies, explosives or explosive devices) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sentenced to death.

After the moratorium on execution of the death penalty was announced in 2007, this sentence was exchanged to life imprisonment.
