People ask for free bus service for schoolchildren in Uzbekistan

Citizens proposed to make public transport services free of charge for pupils. A petition on the matter was posted on the portal “My opinion”, Nuz.uz reported.

“Young people are our future! Based on this principle, many opportunities are being created. I believe that schoolchildren should use the public transport for free. To implement this, it is necessary to issue a special ID for children by school administration. Upon presentation of the document, the pupil will be exempted from payment in public transport,” Umidbek Polvonov makes this proposal.

A proposal of the Uzbek citizen was received positively. Someone suggested making public transport free of charge for schoolchildren on weekdays, a number of portal users suggested introducing special school buses, which would take pupils to classes and then return them home.
