MITC discusses prospects for localizing Yandex services in Uzbekistan
On February 27, Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications hosted a meeting with a delegation of Yandex, the press service of the Ministry said.
During the meeting, prospects for cooperation, including in the localization of Yandex services in the Uzbek market and the deployment of CDN servers for improved access to services, were discussed.
Separately, the issues of establishing cooperation with Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorezmi and Inha University in creating educational programs in the field of IT were considered.
The parties agreed to develop a joint roadmap for enhancing collaboration in 2019-2020.
