Central Bank of Uzbekistan awards 40 students with scholarships

In accordance with the previously announced competition for students of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan on scholarships and internships at the Central Bank, 40 students out of 320 applicants, were awarded scholarships by the Central Bank and were given the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Central Bank during a four-month internship.

On February 28, a welcoming ceremony was held at the Central Bank for fellows, where Board members of the CB headed by Chairman M. Nurmuratov congratulated all students with scholarships and the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills during an internship at the bank.

In order to fully comprehend the activities and tasks of the Central Bank, starting from March, each fellow will be trained in various departments for 4 months.

It is noted that this program will allow to train personnel purposefully, encouraging students to increase their knowledge in the field of macroeconomic policy and activities of the Central Bank for their subsequent employment in the organization.
