A two-time Olympic gold medalist (2004 and 2008), a three-time World Champion (2005, 2007 and 2013) and the current world record holder in pole-vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva has arrived in Tashkent, the press service of the National Olympic Committee reports.
At Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, Isinbayeva was met by officials of the NOC and representatives of mass media.
It should be noted that within the framework of her visit, the legendary athlete will also participate in the solemn awarding ceremony of women's sports contest "Nafosat-2019".
Also, on March 4, at 11:00, a press conference with Isinbayeva is scheduled at the National Olympic Committee.
