Self-employed citizens to be issued labor certificates

A number of specialized structures are tasked to develop proposals on the procedure for introducing temporary labor certificates for self-employed citizens. This was approved by the presidential decree “On the state order to provide employment of the population and create new jobs for 2019”.

Owners of such certificates will receive benefits – it is expected that this will be a stimulus for the rest of the self-employed people. They will also be able to include a period of work in their service seniority and get a preferential loan at the expense of the Fund for Employment Promotion.

It is expected that this, among other things, will allow legalizing employees who are now forced to work in the “shadow” economy, as well as provide such citizens with the right to receive pension provisions.

Earlier, it was reported that self-employed citizens were proposed to be equated with the activity of individual entrepreneurs, but then this was discussed at a meeting in UzLiDeP, in which representatives of Oliy Majlis, Ministry of Labor, Youth Union and Ministry of Innovation took part.
