Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank dismissed
Adham Islamov was relieved of his post as deputy chairman of the board of the Central Bank, a source in the Bank confirmed this to Kun.uz correspondent.
Islamov has held this position since February 2018.
He entered the banking industry in 1998. Throughout his career, he worked as first deputy, then acting chairman of the Khalk Banki (People’s Bank). From 2014 to 2018, he served as chief consultant at the department for Coordination of Social and Economic Policy of the President’s Office.
Now Islamov’s position will be taken by Saidkahkhor Kholhujayev, who has headed the insurance company Uzagrosugurta since September 2017.
