From March 13 onwards, the airports of Uzbekistan do not accept aircrafts of the type Boeing 737 Max 8 and 737 Max 9, the Telegram channel of AviaSpotter reports.

It should be reminded, after the crash of the Boeing 737 Max 8 in Ethiopia, the airlines of ten countries abandoned these aircrafts. Operation of the Boeing 737 Max 8 was suspended in Brazil, Argentina, China, Singapore and South Korea.

The United States and Canada are the only countries in which the Boeing 737 Max aircrafts are being operated. Earlier, following other countries, the aircraft flights were suspended by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and India. S7 – the only Russian airline that already has two aircraft of this model has also refused to operate flights.

As of Wednesday morning, only two American companies (American Airlines, Southwest Airlines) and two Canadian (Air Canada, WestJet) continue to operate flights via Boeing 737 Max.

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said flights of 737 Max airliners would not be suspended, despite increasing pressure from senators and trade unions.

It is worth recalling that on March 10, the plane Boeing 737 Max 8 of the Ethiopian Airlines, performing a flight from Addis Ababa to Nairobi, crashed at 60 km east of the Ethiopian capital. The plane crash killed 157 people, including foreign citizens of 35 countries.

This catastrophe was the second crash of this type of aircraft in six months – at the end of October 2017, the Boeing 737 Max 8 of the Indonesian company Lion Air fell into the Java Sea soon after departing from Jakarta airport. All 189 people on board were killed.
