President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a law "On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the adoption of additional measures to improve business environment in the country".
The law was adopted by the Legislative chamber on February 22, 2019, approved by the Senate on February 28, 2019.
In accordance with the law adopted, the following legislative acts were introduced amendments:
The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 5 May 1994 "On bankruptcy";
The Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility, approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of September 22, 1994;
The Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 21, 1995 No. 163-1 and the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 256-1 dated August 29, 1996;
The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 26, 1996, No.223-I "On joint-stock companies and protection of shareholders' rights";
The Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 29, 1997, № 474-1 "On the state tax service" (the rights of the state tax service);
