Man detained in Fergana for alleged bribing of BCE employee with 30 million soums 

Reportedly, in Yozyovon district of the Fergana region, a manager of the fishery T. M. was found out using an unauthorized electrical power on the territory of 7.5 hectares belonging to the fish farming.

In this case, the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement officers in the Yozyovon district department have issued relevant documents and recalculated the damage to the state revenue. It was estimated at 88 million soums.

Then, in order to reduce the amount of damage and avoid criminal liability, the citizen T.M. offered 30 million soums in bribe to the BCE employees of the Yozyovon district department O. Urmonov and Sh. Mamajonov. The lawbreaker stated that he was ready to pay 20 million soums in advance.

As a result of the rapid operational event held by employees of the regional BCE and the district prosecutor's office, T. M. was caught red-handed at one of the kitchens in the district upon bribing a BCE employee with $900 and 500,000 soums.

The prosecutor's office in Yozyovon district has filed a criminal case against T. M. under a relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, preliminary investigation is underway.
