Citizens propose to equip the cold water supply system of multi-storey residential buildings in Uzbekistan with cleaning filters 

On the collective reference portal “My opinion”, a petition on installation of cleaning filters in the cold water supply system of multi-storey houses has appeared.

It is noted that the need to improve water supply in urban areas should be improved rapidly. In particular, taking into account the fact that most of the drinking water in Tashkent is recycled, cold water supply system of each multi-storey building should be provided with cleaning filters.

“Of course, doctors advise us to boil water and drink, but some micronutrients do not disappear when boiling.

Simple example: boil the water in a kettle, pour it into a glass and wait. In a few minutes a white surface will be formed on the glass. If you wait for a while, you will see white sediments. It may seem trifling for some people, but such silt can be accumulated in our body and eventually lead to various diseases.

We often do not see such sediments in the water, because we usually drink tea, but in reality they are many. In 3 liters of water, a 1/3 of teaspoon precipitate is constituted” the petition says.

It is reported that in some districts, there are more micronutrients in the water consumed. Reducing such cases in the water supply system costs a great deal of time and money, so it is also advisable to install cleaning filters for cold water supply in each multi-storey building.

“I suggest organizing the installation of cold water cleaning filters in each multi-storey house and control its operation. This initiative can be financed by allocating loans to homeowners' associations or targeted utilization of proprietors’ funds,” author of the petition writes.
