Emergency call buttons installed near central markets in Tashkent

Experimentally, in the “Chilonzor Buyum Savdo” and “Dustlik Savdo Majmuasi” markets located in the Chilanzar district, as well as near the shopping center “Toshkent Savdo Markazi” in the Shaykhantahur district, emergency call buttons were installed, the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent informs.

“This is not just a button in the usual sense, but a whole complex. It consists of a rack, on top of which a surveillance camera is fixed, a built-in microphone, under which the call button itself is located to communicate with the operator on duty at the nearest interior department. Between the button and the microphone, through which the citizen communicates with the employee, a mini video camera is installed, allowing the operator to see the interlocutor,” the police department reported.

Visitors to the market “Chilonzor Buyum Savdo” have already started to appreciate the innovation. On March 30, a young man, following the instructions placed on the device panel, informed the duty officer of the 9th Department of Internal Affairs about an incident in the area.

According to the analysis of the experiment, similar emergency call buttons will be installed in other public places of our city.
