Fraud asked $15,000 for admission to second specialty at Tashkent University of Economics
As a result of the operational event held by the prosecutor’s office, together with other law enforcement agencies, an acting director of the "Tashkent branch of agrochemical station" M. B. was detained for taking bribes.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, citizen M. B. was arrested with physical evidence while receiving $15,000 fraudulently. For this money, the detainee promised to resolve the issue of enrolling citizen S. U. to Tashkent State Economic University through his high-ranking acquaintances at the university.
On this fact, in relation to M. B., a criminal case has been initiated under relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are underway.
