Who is entitled to free health resort vouchers in Uzbekistan?
In accordance with the legislation in Uzbekistan, certain individuals are entitled to free health resort vouchers.
In particular, the following groups of people have the right to do so:
- persons with disabilities and participants in the World War II and persons equated to them, as well as a person accompanying a disabled person of war (I group);
- spouses of deceased servicemen;
- individuals receiving personal pensions of republican significance;
- persons who become ill and have suffered radiation sickness caused by the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP;
- persons who served the army in the nuclear test sites and other radiation-nuclear facilities;
- persons with disabilities of I and II groups, as well as a person accompanying someone with visual impairment (I group);
- non-working senior citizens;
- non-working pensioners.
To obtain vouchers to employment assistance centers, the following documents are submitted:
- application;
- passport copy;
- document confirming the right to a benefit;
- medical certificate.
Periodic issuance of vouchers as follows:
annually (in the order of queuing):
- persons equated to war invalids;
- individuals receiving personal pensions of republican significance;
- persons who become ill and have suffered radiation sickness caused by the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP;
- persons who served the army in the nuclear test sites and other radiation-nuclear facilities;
- lonely senior citizens.
Once every two years (in the order of queuing):
- persons equated to war invalids;
- spouses of dead servicemen;
- persons with disabilities of I and II groups, as well as a person accompanying someone with visual impairment (I group);
- pensioners – subject to availability of seats in the sanatorium in the order of queuing, but once in 3 years.
The voucher is issued for 12 days, no later than 10 days before it takes effect.
