Said Abdulaziz Yusupov’s video message to President Mirziyoyev goes viral on social networks (video)

A video message of Said Abdulaziz Yusupov, head of the Mass Media Support Foundation, to the President of Uzbekistan goes viral on social networks these days.

It should be recalled that he was detained on May 10 on fraud charges under Article 168 of the Criminal Code. The Prosecutor General’s Office noted that the criminal probe on large-scale fraud charges was launched against him.

According to the press service of the law enforcement body, Said Abdulaziz Yusupov is accused of taking money from people by pretending to be a state security service officer throughout a year.

In his video message Yusupov states that if the footage is published on social networks then “there are reasons for this.”

“Unfortunately, the reasons are not good,” he said.

It became known that the video message was filmed on September 25, 2018 and was recently published on the network by his younger brother Muhammad Yusupov.

“We recorded this video just in case. I hope that it will bring clarity to many things, and he will soon return to his family,” Muhammad Yusupov noted.

As Said Abdulaziz Yusupov stated, every time he supported the policies of the president, he was put under pressure.

“Against your image they create non-existent enemies, I tried to stop it, but they started “hunting” me again,” he stressed.

He said that in February 2018, the first criminal case was initiated against him.

There are reports that “they even kidnapped his son from school so that he would admit “his guilt”.
