Uzbekistan, Oman eye to expand legal framework of cooperation

On May 13, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Ilhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman Ahmed bin Said bin Omar Al Katheeri, the press service of the MFA reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed practical aspects of bilateral relations, including proposals on expanding the legal framework for cooperation, as well as other issues on Uzbekistan – Oman agenda.
For information, Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations with the Sultanate of Oman on April 22, 1992 by signing a joint communiqué in Moscow.
