Law on state provision of pensions introduced amendments

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the law “On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. The document was published on the website xs.uz.

The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber on April 26, 2019 and approved by the Senate on May 3, 2019.

According to the document, the Law No. 938–XII of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On state provision of pensions for citizens” of September 3, 1993 has been introduced the following amendments:

·        In the second part of Article 27, the words “eight times” have been replaced by the words “ten times”;

·        In the sixth part of Article 31, the words “eight times” have been replaced by the words “ten times”.
