Rector of Amity University in Tashkent appointed

Aziz Mukhitdinov was appointed acting rector of Amity University in Tashkent. Prior to this appointment, he worked as the first deputy director for development and implementation of ICT at the UNICON.UZ center, the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications reports.

Aziz Mukhitdinov, born in 1985 (in Tashkent), graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after M. A. Bonch-Bruevich in 2009.

He worked in various positions at the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, JSC Uzbektelekom, and also held the position of acting director at the UZINFOCOM center.

Amity University in Tashkent opens starting from the 2019/2020 academic year in accordance with the presidential decree signed on January 7, 2019. The university will train specialists in the field of information and communication technologies, including software developers and specialists in artificial intelligence, marketing in IT and others.
