In the city of Tashkent, illegal constructions located on the Salom Street are being demolished, the press service of the Tashkent city administration reported.
“One of the frequent complaints of the Tashkent citizens is connected with the lack of sidewalks, which is why people are forced to go on the roadway, endangering themselves. The reason for this situation with sidewalks is illegal construction of buildings, front gardens and sheds by residents of mahallas. Gradually, the situation is changing,” the press service said.
The administration noted that currently, illegal structures are being dismantled and the sidewalks are being restored.
