Uztransgaz to be removed from Uzbekneftegaz

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on measures for stable provision of the population and enterprises with energy resources, financial rehabilitation and improvement of the management system in the oil and gas industry.

According to the document, Uztransgaz energy company will be removed from Uzbekneftegaz. It is planned to reduce unnecessary intermediate links in the management system of JSC Uzbekneftegaz by joining JSC Uzburneftegaz, JSC Uzneftegazdobycha, JSC Uznefteprodukt and JSC Uzneftegazmash JSC with the formation of relevant departments in the structure of the executive office of Uzbekneftegaz, ensuring the implementation of tasks and functions of abolished links.

In addition, JSC Hududgaztaminot will be created on the basis of the territorial gas supply branches of Uztransgaz.

Uztransgaz is tasked with eliminating bottlenecks in critical areas of the gas transmission system and developing its transit potential, while Hududgaztaminot JSC reduces the loss of natural gas when it is delivered to consumers.
