Commercial bank “Yoshlar” to be created in Uzbekistan
A commercial bank “Yoshlar” will be created in Uzbekistan. This is stated in the roadmap on implementing the state youth policy in 2019-2020.
It is noted that the commercial bank “Yoshlar” will be created to support innovative ideas and initiatives of young people. In this regard, a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers will be developed.
The document is expected to be completed by January 2020. The Central Bank, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance and the Youth Union of Uzbekistan are responsible bodies for its execution.
Additionally, in order to develop the youth entrepreneurship in the country, the social movement “Every young person – entrepreneur” will be launched within the framework of the state program “Youth are our future”.
In each district (city), there will be “Youth entrepreneurship zones”, which will support the start-up projects of young entrepreneurs with participation of experienced and talented business people.
Clusters, such as, “Young fisherman”, “Young beekeeper”, “Young gardener” and “Young silkworm breeder” will be created in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions and the city of Tashkent.
