New khokim of Jambay district appointed

On July 30, an extraordinary session of the district council of people’s deputies was held in the Jambay district of the Samarkand region.

During the event, participants reviewed the organizational issue. Khamza Tuychiev was appointed new khokim of the Jambay district. Prior to his appointment, he worked as head of the regional treasury department.

It should be recalled that on July 26, the President of Uzbekistan held a meeting with regional activists, sectorial leaders, aksakals, farmers and entrepreneurs in the Samarkand district.

According to Kun.uz source, following the president’s visit to Samarkand, the khokim of the Jambay district Umidjon Nazarov, the prosecutor, the chief tax officer and the chief policeman were fired.
