Kyrgyz parliament to convene extraordinary session at 14:00 to discuss Atambayev’s case

Parliament of Kyrgyzstan will convene an extraordinary session at 14:00, Akipress reports with reference to Dastanbek Jumabekov, Speaker of the Parliament.
The session will be held at 14:00.
It should be reminded that on August 7, clashes occurred between the SWAT soldiers and supporters of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev in his home in Koi-Tash village.
The National Security Committee Special Forces tried to arrest Atambayev by storming his house. Several SWAT soldiers were taken hostage by Atambayev's supporters.
More than 50 people were injured, one SWAT soldier died.
