State exams, scheduled for August 11, postponed
In order to implement the presidential decree “On celebration of Kurban Khayit” (Eid al-Adha) scheduled for August 11, state exams planned for this day are postponed to other days.
According to the press service of the State Testing Center, only the date of exams is changed, the time and the venues remain the same.
In particular, exams will be held in Kashkadarya on August 12, in Fergana, Jizzakh and Navoi on August 13, in Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Khorezm and Samarkand on August 14, and in Bukhara on August 15.
It should be recalled that on August 3, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on celebration of Kurban Khayit (Eid al-Adha) on August 11 (Sunday). Taking into account the request of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, August 11 is announced as public holiday.
