Fire breaks out at one of the markets in Tashkent region 

On August 9, at 4:55 a.m., the Fire Safety Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Tashkent region was reported about a fire in retail stores on the market of the LLC “Bekobod dehqon bozori”. 

Reportedly, four firefighting crews were involved in the elimination of the fire. The first fire crews arrived at 5:00 a.m. on the scene. As a result of the operational actions of fire-fighters, the fire was completely eliminated at 5:25 a.m. Nobody was hurt. The fire damaged the roof construction and food products of 6 stores on an area of 60 square meters.

The building structures of 16 stores on an area of 768 square meters of the food market pavilion were preserved from the fire. An alleged cause of the fire was the emergency mode of the electrical network of stores. Currently, the material damage is being calculated.
